I feel the need, the need for… uh oh……

At 1:14AM EST on October 31, 2004 I was issued my first ticket ever by Lt. Randall of the North Carolina Highway Patrol. I am currently in a very mentally distraught and anti-driving mood. The ticket is for going 85mph in a 60mph zone. I will appear in court on December 10, 2004 at 9:00am. I can’t believe I allowed this to happen… I am so stressed about this right now….I dont want to be on north carolina roads now, but unfortunately I have class tomorrow and I must…

  1. Yeah, tickets are never fun. I know, I had a 4 point ticket for reckless driving. He could’ve gotten you for that, so at least you’re doing well for yourself in the point department. I felt the exact same way after I got my ticket. I didn’t want to even look at a road. All of which was made all the more distressing when I was pulled over the week after for not wearing a seatbelt, when I was. I wasn’t ticketed, and he felt like a dumbass, but I sure as hell felt myself shrink when I saw those blue lights in my mirror.
You got busted at Sam Wilson Rd exit on I85, I’d bet. Either that or Cox Rd. They’re always there, just keep that in mind next time you’re cruising down the highway.
Oh, don’t be surprised if they move your court date back. If you want to pleade guilty, you can go to the courthouse and ask to have it reduced in exchange for your plea. It almost always works on a first offense. Hope this helps!
