Not my most inspiring photo for the project, but it was based on a concept I have been trying. I have been attempting to shoot certain things as they appear naturally. I caught this boiling while attempting to photo steam, which came out less interesting than this.

To get steam, try shooting from a low angle. Kneel down and shoot upward. Would likely work best if you have a solid color behind.
Thanks Bro. I’ll have to try that…. and I see heat resistant backdrop in my future.
This method also works well with smoke… if you want to work on the concept without the added heat, get some incense… it’s perfect for it 😉 (I would suggest Sandalwood, simply for the nice aromatic scent)
