Now that my camera bag has been ordered (went with the Case Logic), I decided to see what other types of cases (non-backpack style) existed, perhaps for other purposes. I was surprised by this particular case. It is Opteka’s Hard Case. It is pretty cool in concept for protecting valuable hardware (and if I get the $3,000 Nikon 200 – 400mm lens, I will buy this case), but it comes across a bit like a camera case for a member of the mafia.
